Kabba Transport Hits 400,000 Trips Milestone: Transforming Student Transportation in Ethiopia

Kabba Transport is proud to announce a remarkable achievement: 400,000+ safe trips completed across Addis Ababa. This milestone represents not just numbers, but the trust placed in us by hundreds of families who rely on us daily for their children's transportation.

What This Milestone Means

Since our founding in 2021, we've been on a mission to transform how Ethiopia thinks about transportation. Reaching 400,000 trips isn't just a statistic—it's a testament to:

• 400,000 moments of peace for parents knowing their children are safe
• 400,000 journeys through Addis Ababa's busy streets
• 300+ children transported monthly to 10+ schools in the Ayat and CMC areas

The Journey So Far

Starting as a small team with a big vision, we've grown from a simple idea—solving the daily challenge of getting children to school safely—to becoming Ethiopia's first tech-enabled student transportation platform.

"Two years ago, Kabba was just an idea. Fast forward to today, 400,000+ trips completed and we've barely scratched the surface. We're not just building a better transportation system; we're redefining what public transit should look like." — Nahom Mekonen, Co-Founder

More Than Just Numbers

What makes this milestone special is the community we've built. Families rebook annually, often requesting the same drivers they've come to know and trust. This isn't just a service—it's a tight-knit community.

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning. With your continued trust, we're committed to:

• Expanding to more schools across Addis Ababa
• Growing our fleet with more electric vehicles
• Creating meaningful employment opportunities for women and youth
• Reaching our goal of 30,000 app users by 2030

Thank you to every family, partner, and team member who made this possible. Here's to the next 400,000 trips!
